This tree is for those people who appreciate a more detailed family history. It involves both genealogical records (such as birth, death and census information) as well as an Ancestry.com DNA test results including your personal ethnicity estimates.

AncestryDNA uses recent advances in DNA technology to provide ethnicity estimates that span the past thousand years and provide insights that often aren’t recorded in historical records.
After I collect all the preliminary information from you, I will acquire available genealogical records on your family. Simultaneously, you will need to take a DNA test through Ancestry.com. Once Ancestry DNA results are delivered (approximately 6 weeks), I will utilize your personal DNA matches in addition to the genealogical records to create a more precise Family Tree.
Each “Who Am I” project will include a Scientific DNA Family Tree, in addition to several types of charts & records.
Payment must be made before work begins.
Cost includes Ancestry DNA test & (Initial flat fee for 8 hours of Research)

Below is some information about Ancestry.com and AncestryDNA.
No subscription is necessary in order to take the DNA test and receive results. Your results will include an ethnicity estimate and a list of DNA matches (other people who have taken the AncestryDNA test and who are likely to be related to you). You’ll receive a potential breakdown of your ethnicity by percentage as well as a list of DNA matches.
How do I get the Test? What is the procedure to take the test?
In the regular mail, you will receive a box containing a saliva tube and a pre-paid return mailing box. Open the box and follow directions. You will fill the tube with your saliva. Send it back inside the pre-paid mailing box to Ancestry. Within 6 to 8 weeks after Ancestry receives your sample, a email will be sent to you letting you know your results are in.
